Thermilox® patent in resin base inks
The patented UTECO Thermilox® system is applicable to EB and UV flexo presses in order to guarantee the accurate and continuous control of ink temperature during the print run.
The main advantages of the Thermilox® system are:
- pre-conditioning of the temperature of the ink before sending it to the doctor blade
- keeping constant the temperature of the ink at the correct operating set value thus optimizing the operative temperature of any specific ink (EB and UV), independently on each color deck
- keeping constant the ink viscosity by means of accurate temperature control
- avoiding the warming up of the plates during long print runs thus reducing accumulation of lump on the plate and eliminating plate deformation
