Xeikon toners take dry toners to a new level of performance.
- Developed in-house
- co-friendly
- Optimised for specific uses in the document printing industry
Advantages
Because we develop our proprietary dry toner in-house, we can vouch for its outstanding quality and performance. Innovative, market-driven R&D ensures it is continually improved, so you can meet ever-rising quality and productivity standards.
The new QA-toner comes in two types: the Industrial version (QA-I), and the Productivity version (QA-P). Built on Xeikon’s proven Form Adapted (FA) technology, the QA-toner raises the bar of digital colour print toners to new heights.
Qa-P toner is ideal for the document printing and book printing markets. It offers benefits in the field of fusing, increased colour gamut and speed.
Technology
Extended colour gamut
FA and QA-P toners are available in the 4 process colours (CMYK) and off-the-shelf spot colours (red, green, blue, orange and extra magenta). Our clear toner is UV fluorescent and can be used for low level security applications and identification marks on transaction documents and direct mailings, invisible to the human eye but not to finishing equipment. We can also develop custom-made colours to meet specific brand colour or security requirements.
Pantone®-licensed
FA and QA-P toner facilitate the accurate reproduction of your customers’ brand image.
Two-sided full colour printing, including MICR
The fifth colour station of the Xeikon 8000 can also hold MICR toner for printing checks and other transaction documents. It is the only digital press in its class of print quality that prints double-sided full colour documents with MICR characters in one pass. This way data integrity is guaranteed and productivity maintained.
Environmentally-friendly
FA and QA-P toner contain no solvents, so our presses produce no hazardous emissions of VOCs (volatile organic compounds). They also contain no hazardous chemicals, which makes them compliant with the US and EU black list, US-C-070928PROP- IC-65, and EU Standard EN71-3 (heavy metals). Like all commercially available Xeikon toners they score high on de-inkability. This means that Xeikon-printed paper is guaranteed to be recyclable.
