The Emerald was the first of Uteco’s modern presses designed specifically to facilitate fast changeovers.
One of the technological innovations that has made the Emerald so succesful is the patented “prismatic” deck guiding system consisting of both upper and lower decks guides, a significant improvement over the single guide systems of earlier presses. This technology allows the Emerald to print high quality process jobs at higher speeds due to improved deck stability.
The Emerald was introduced in 2000 and since its introduction hundreds have been placed globally.
